This 2027 G3 1860 VBW has a floor insert added, so you're standing on a flat floor instead of stepping between ribs. It's an aluminum jon boat, 17 feet 11 inches long and 6 feet 8 inches across the beam. Seating is rated for six people. The hull weighs 500 pounds dry and takes a gas outboard.

On a summer Saturday, boats crowd the sand at Sandy Island, and a jon boat this size can run in close to the beach. The flat floor leaves room for a cooler and a couple of folding chairs. Stop by the shop on Highway 544 in Myrtle Beach, or reach a salesperson at 843-236-9309.
