Yamaha repower jobs we handle
Why boaters choose Coastal Marine for a Yamaha repower
Why repower with Yamaha
Around here Yamaha is the default motor, and that works in your favor three ways:
- Parts and service knowledge are everywhere on this coast, ours included.
- A Yamaha on the transom helps when the day comes to sell the boat.
- On a G3 or SunCatcher, both Yamaha boat companies, it's the match the factory intended.
What the swap involves
The old motor comes off and the transom and wiring get a hard look before anything new goes on.
Controls get sorted. Older boats with cable controls can keep them or step up to electronic controls depending on the motor, and we'll tell you which your boat actually needs rather than defaulting to the expensive answer.
The new Yamaha goes on with gauges hooked up and a prop matched to how you load the boat.
What a Yamaha repower costs
Horsepower drives the number and rigging rides on top of it, so the only figure worth comparing is installed and out the door. That's how we quote, motor, rigging, labor and tax in one line. If you're holding another dealer's installed number, bring it and we'll put ours next to it.
