This 2027 G3 1442 is set up for an outboard, and no motor is listed with it, so you pick the one that fits. The aluminum hull is 13 feet, 11 inches long and 5 feet, 2 inches across the beam. At 200 pounds dry, it's a light jon boat rated for 3 people.

Up around Bucksport, the cuts off the Waccamaw get tight and shallow, and a small hull gets back into them where bigger boats can't. That's good catfish water, and it stays quiet back there on weekdays. Ask about a motor for it at Coastal Marine in Myrtle Beach, 843-236-9309.
