There's room for 3 people in the 2027 G3 1442, and the open aluminum hull leaves floor space for a cooler and a tackle box. It's a jon boat 13 feet, 11 inches long, on a 5-foot, 2-inch beam. The hull weighs 200 pounds dry.

Socastee Creek runs narrow and shallow in places, and a hull this light is easy to push off a stump or a sandbar. Bream and catfish bite back there through the summer. Call 843-236-9309 or come by Coastal Marine on Highway 544 in Myrtle Beach to look it over.
